Pop culture festival Into the Great Wide Open will not take place in physical form on Vlieland this year, but will take place in the form of a broadcast, a magazine and a box. As a result, the International Film Festival Rotterdam will adapt their programming and make its IFFR Unleashed platform available as an alternative to their presence on Vlieland. During the festival, five films will be screened for free, including the films BABA and NOBU by fashion designer Lisa Konno and filmmaker Sarah Blok. Both BABA and NOBU are about a father and his daughter. In both films, a clothing collection inspired by the father’s life story is the common thread.
