The winners of the Dutch Design Awards 2021 mark a new impetus for the design world with a lot of innovation and the power to change. Impact on people, nature, and society is the criterion for strong design and ingenious and technological developments are used for this. DDA WINNER THE FABRICANT DRIVES MINI FOR A FULL YEAR
The Fabricant, winner in the category Fashion, was awarded an extra prize by MINI. The chosen collective will have its own MINI Electric Camden Edition for a year and will be involved in MINI as an ambassador. From all eight winners, the MINI and DDA committee selected The Fabricant for their forward-looking and radically new digital-first approach to fashion.

BNO Piet Zwart Award 2021
The jury unanimously declared Hella Jongerius as the winner of the BNO Piet Zwart Award. This is because of its exceptional track record and its significance for current and future generations of designers. There is morphic resonance at play because earlier this year Hella Jongerius was appointed as a BNO honorary member.
