Dutch Design Awards (DDA) is looking for a (beginning) designer or design enthusiast from Eindhoven (or surrounding area) to fulfill the role of 'Chef Exhibition' at Dutch Design Week.
This year’s Dutch Design Awards nominees and winners will present their work at Dutch Design Week 2 (DDW) 019 from 19-27 October. Each category (Product, Fashion, Habitat, Communication, Design Research, Service & Systems, Young Designer and Best Commissioning), will be represented by three participants who will exhibit their projects. For guidance of the DDW exhibition, DDA is looking for a (beginning) designer or design enthusiast from Eindhoven or the surrounding area.
Are you available for the 9 days of DDW, responsible, accurate and hospitable? Are you motivated and spontaneous, with a real hands-on mentality? Then we are looking for you!
Your tasks, in coordination with a second ‘Chef Exhibition’, will be guiding the volunteers (4 to 5 people), open and close the exhibition, keep everything in order, as well as taking care of the projects and technicalities. In addition, it would be appreciated if you would do some research into the presented projects so you can guide the visitors throughout the exhibition.
Your working hours from 19-27 October will be:
Chef 1: 10.30 – 17.30 hr (6 hours)
Chef 2: 11.30 – 18.30 hr (6 hours)
There will be a fixed fee for the 9 days.
Interested? Please contact Romée Beernink, Lead Production DDA before 2 September, with a short motivation and your resume.
