On 18, 19 and 20 September the first edition of GLUE Amsterdam will take place. With this initiative, players in the Amsterdam design scene such as galleries, studios and stores aim to foster connections. Peter van de Water will also open his doors to take visitors through his career by means of scale models of his work.

In 2019, furniture brand Gispen won the DDA Product award with the Sett CE sofa, designed by Peter. The sofa is produced completely circularly and consists for a large part of rest materials from other Gispen products. Despite the eco-friendliness that’s inside, the outside does not necessarily convey “greenness”. With this, Peter and Gispen showed that it is possible to produce existing products circularly without giving up comfort and beauty.

During GLUE, visitors will also be able to see Peter’s growing focus on sustainable products.
