WANTED: volunteers for the Dutch Design Awards exhibition 2015. Do you have a passion for design and would you like to be part of the most visited design festival of Northern Europe? Then sign up now as a volunteer for the Dutch Design Awards exhibition. For nine days you can become the face of the exhibition that shows the best Dutch design of the past year.
ABOUT DUTCH DESIGN AWARDS
Dutch Design Awards annually shows and rewards the very best of Dutch design. The Awardshow at the Effenaar and the exhibition are annually considered as one of the highlights of Dutch Design Week. The work of all 31 finalists and winners can be seen in the exhibition divided into different categories. Here, people can also vote for their favorite design for the FRAME Public Award. Together with different design exhibitions including Het Stimuleringsfonds and Hands Off, DDA will present itself on the ninth floor of the former Philips storage, the Veem-building at Strijp-S (Eindhoven). For the first time, this unique location will be open to the public.
Volunteers are the hosts of DDA. As an attendant or ticket supervisor, you’ll man the DDA exhibition, help visitors to find their way or lead them around and you assist when the occasion arises. You are representative and you have basic knowledge of or interest in design. Ideally, you speak both Dutch and English. You will work independently within the framework of the organisation, which will offer you coaching and all the information you need. The exhibition lasts for nine days (17-25 October) and is open daily from 11am-6pm. As a volunteer you are available for at least 2 days, but preferably more.
All volunteers are offered a fee of € 2,50 or € 4,50 per hour (depends on your age). Moreover, we provide lunch and beverages and a free DDW ticket that gives entrance to the Dutch Design Week festival.
Do you want to be a part of the DDA exhibition team? Click here to sign up as a volunteer before 1 October. Please mention your wish to work for DDA clearly in the form.
We look forward to meet you in October!
