The Woodland jewellery collection, by Terhi Tolvanen, in which the area of tension between nature and human intervention is central. The mechanical links and fastenings contrast with the organic components. Both content and form have references to Tolvanen’s Finnish roots.

The Woodland jewellery collection displays a delightful interplay of crafted wood, ceramic, precious metal, precious stone, felt and rubber. It shows a high sensitivity for its materials, it is poetic in character and the interaction between nature and the viewer, or wearer, which the designer strived for, is completely successful.
