Poster to promote ʻVia Milano 02’ – an exhibition of the best work by Dutch designers that was launched at the Salone del Mobile Milan. The poster shows a diminutive Fiat 500 (an Italian classic) overloaded with some of the exhibits returning to Amsterdam. The Stone Twins also devised the brand name ‘Via Milano’ for the series of Dutch Designers Association (BNO) exhibitions.The fluorescent red and green colour scheme is a reference to Italy and 3-dimensionality.

If design can be described as the art of achieving an effect with the scarcest of means, then the poster for the Via Milano event is a success.
