Architecture, airplane design and minimalism are the inspiration for these shoes designed bij (ex-)architect Rem D. Koolhaas (son of the famous OMA architect Rem Koolhaas). The shoes are made of unusual and innovative materials. Like for example ultra-strong, lightweight carbon fiber -often seen in car and bicycle racing -is used, making it possible for the heel of the shoe to reach a record height of 130 millimeters.
