Typeradio is a Microfm broadcast, a MP3 internet radio stream and a podcast station. Typeradio visits different design events around the world, to meet designers, to talk, to perform live on cultural festivals, and to conduct student workshops.

The perfect distribution channel for a perfect concept: spoken interviews about an essentially visual subject. Perfectly manageable, because long interviews have, if only for technical reasons, been cut into pieces. A limited menu offers the possibility to call up the interviews through various search terms. Although strictly speaking ‘hors category’- after all, the initiative dates back a couple of years – the jury believed that the topicality of this living project was sufficient reason for assessment.
