The group exhibition is an advanced architectural installation by Ben van Berkel in cooperation with Prof Johan Bettum and Luis Etchegorry. The installation named ‘the Thing’ consists of an upper and a lower level. The upper level serves as a theatre platform, while the lower level is a traditional exhibition space.

UN Studio has more than once shown the boundless possibilities of the computer in the design process. The Theatre of Immanence is an example of this. The created images are strong and impressive, and the interior landscape evokes an interesting spatial experience. Clever, ingenious, surprising.
