Temporary Museum (Lake)

The project
For the art exhibition ‘Schone Schijn’ a temporary museum in a meadow is designed. he flowing form was materialized in poplar ply- wood. The thickness of the floor, the walls and the roof could be minimized, resulting in a wafer-thin line between volume, exterior and interior (RdjK, Dutch Design Yearbook, 2011).

Committee
Un-Dutch design because of the intuitive lines of which it is composed. As the temporality of the building allowed a minimum use of materials, the line between exterior, volume and interior is paper- thin, while the design manifests itself most strikingly in all these areas.
