EDHV
Software Debug Tracking

The project
This project shows that technology and biology can also inspire autonomous design. EDHV created a software project that results in a visual final product: a chart of the walking patterns of insects. Obstacles and cutout patterns ‘steer’ the insects along a path in a box, a webcam records the walking behavior. Finally, a processing application translates the collected data into colors and circles. When the walk is completed, the end result is printed as a poster.

Committee
Complex walking patterns of insects are directly printed: a bizar, surprising, experimental approach of a new computer technology.
