Sun Shade Parasol
The project
During the day, the flexible solar cells in the canopy of the parasol charge the SunShade with solar energy. Through this energy, the Sunshade transforms into a large floor lamp at night. The first prototype is 2.5 metres high, and has a diameter of 3 metres.
Committee
In concept, an interesting dual-function product that produces light by night and shadow by day. The canopy of the parasol opens and closes in a very alluring way.
