A multi-disciplinary team of scientists, designers, and engineers worked together to develop Polydome as a fundamental answer to the global demand for sustainable food, both in industrial and urban contexts. Polydome uses a symbiotic ecosystem of plants, animals, and fungi. It optimizes greenhouse space to produce over 50 crops, two mushroom varieties, chickens, eggs, fish, and honey, and eliminates the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
