Paviljoen met zwembad
The project
The carefully constructed pavilion has been inserted into the woods near Rijsbergen like a small, modest gem. It is an autonomous, slightly raised object, which stands out from its undulating surroundings, but at the same time so subtly complements the wooded area around it that the two are in perfect harmony. Besides a low corner window, the pavillion has a failry closed character. Yet the transparent skin provides a ‘filtered’ contact with the outdoors.
Committee
The pavilion in the forests of Rijsbergen is a small jewel. The object is in complete harmony with the environment. The elongated building is close to the boundary partition and provides privacy for the pool. The cardboard honeycomb structure mounted in double-walled polyester enables the residents to maintain contact with the outdoor environment.
