Poster series about the parking behaviour of diplomats in New York. The graphs on the posters have been generated straight from the New York City parking violations dataset by means of self-developed software.

This work, a poster series, shows how crucial the visual representation of large amounts of information can be to the recipient. A large variety of graphic displays could be developed by zooming in on different aspects of the information included in one single dataset – the number of parking violations by diplomats in New York between 1998 and 2005, no less than 153. 935. The ‘infographics’ have been generated directly from the database by means of self-written software.
