The surroundings of the High Tech Campus have been drawn into the campus as it were. The buildings were kept as transparent as possible, thus retaining contact with the landscape right up to the work place. Juurlink and Geluk showcase the immense power of the landscape in the creation of a pleasant and stimulating environment for employees whose work depends in no small measure on creativity. Another forte is that the overall design is uncluttered and consistent, but at the same time casual and human in its details.

Landscape architects Juurlink [+] Geluk turned the High Tech Campus into an inspiring working environment. They drew inspiration from the direct surroundings: the Dommel valley. The landscape seems to be drawn into the Campus grounds by the ivy-covered parking garages and The Strip, a building located along the water. The buildings have been kept as transparent as possible in order to maintain contact with the water.
