Furniture for the Dutch TV programme Zomergasten, commissioned by the VPRO (Dutch Public Broadcasting Corporation). In consultation with the staff of Zomergasten, Baas decided to base the furniture on his ‘clay furniture’ concept. Due to the pureness of the clay hand-modelled on top of the furniture, the pieces are asymmetrical and personal. The functionality of the furniture in a television studio was another major design consideration.

Furniture that pokes fun at the prevailing trend towards perfection in high-end furniture shops. The pieces of furniture are developed on the basis of Baas’ earlier Smoke series, and are more suitable for television presentations.
