The visual inspiration for the Fall/ Winter collection of Niels Klavers & Astrid van Engelen is clear: the variety of colours revealed by the play of light on a film of oil on the water’s surface. Amorphously changing lines zigzag across the fabric, elegantly modelled into skirts, tops and entire dresses in striking combinations. As a whole, this extremely wearable collection has a feminine, sensual look. This is partly due to the use of organic, almost flowing and supple fabrics.

The source of inspiration for Klavers van Engelen was an oil film on the water surface reflecting various colours due to refracted light. The collection is very wearable and has a feminine, sensual character owing to the combined use of organic and luxurious material.
