The Colour Carpets are high defined and richly coloured carpet. The carpets, tufted, are made of 100% New Zealand Wool. Scholten & Baijings created optical transparency by using colour gradients. The result: a lot of different carpet designs with a beautiful display of colours. The collection is to be seen as work in progress where more items will be added to the collection on a regular basis.

With these wool rugs and bed linen, designer couple Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings has added a new aspect to their ‘individualistic colour grammar’ that never ceases to surprise. What’s technically remarkable about the pillowcases and sheets are the printed grids in different thicknesses and the shifting strips in dominant colours that cut across the pattern.
