The 2,5 m high BigBin is a new solution for collecting garbage that arises from littering. Behind the plastic, BigBin has a lockable door and 140-liter mobile bucket that can be taken out to be emptied. WeLL Design designed the concept, design and technical approach for its production, based on baselines given by Nederland Schoon foundation: easily recognizable, attractive, easy to use and raising awareness. The BigBin was chosen by the Blomendaal city council and Nederland Schoon foundation from 40 different proposals as the Ideal Garbage Can.
