Ineke Hans
Ahrend 380

The project
Designer Ineke Hans combined a back made of recycled plastic (itself also recyclable) with a contrasting, reinforced plastic for the seat and legs, which gives this comfortable chair a strong silhouette. (source: C.R., Dutch Design Yearbook, 2011)

Committee
The first fully plastic chair by Ahrend resembles its famous Revolt chair from the fifties. Designer Ineke Hans combines a backrest of recycled plastic with a contrasting reinforced plastic seat. Both are fully recyclable. The flexible back lends the well-fitting chair a powerful and fresh silhouette.
